Role overview

As a Computer Vision Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our operations work, on-boarding new customers and ensuring a smooth go-live process for new projects.

You might also be involved in R&D although this will not be your main field. In this role you get the chance to work directly with, and receive guidance and mentorship from, more experienced CV engineers in the team. You will also have the chance to learn from the full Buddywise team of diverse, passionate, experienced, and high performing professionals.

Key responsibilities 

• Collaborate with our engineering and business team to understand the requirements for custom models.
• Set up individualized data processing pipelines tailored to each customer's unique needs.
• Collect data, create annotation instructions and coordinate with annotators to ensure accurate and high-quality datasets.
• Train and evaluate custom models aligned with customer specifications.
• Document findings comprehensively to inform future iterations.
• Conducting rigorous testing to ensure model reliability before deployment to production.
• Deploying models to production, monitoring and reacting quickly to issues.

Your profile

You are passionate about Computer Vision (CV) technology and its applications in real life. An academic background in Computer Vision, preferably a Masters’s degree, is a big BONUS, but your passion and drive for learning and applying CV technologies quickly is a MUST and also proven experience developing Computer Vision applications.

• +1 years working with OpenCV, Tensorflow, Pytorch
• Work highly organized, autonomously and take responsibility for your deliverables
• Experience working with cloud providers, preferably on Azure, AWS is a bonus
• Can write clean code in Python
• Good knowledge of image processing techniques
• Are able to work in an agile environment, where things change fast
